Fennell Story Insights was founded to promote understanding of markets, market segmentation, and the development of products based on the concepts of Geraldine Fennell, published between 1975 and 2005.
We seek to further develop Dr. Fennell's models, disseminate them across academia, industry, and education, and promote their application in academic research, teaching, and industry.
Dr. Geraldine Fennell had an extensive career in academia and industry. You can see more about her here. She developed new perspectives on understanding consumer decision-making. She endowed a foundation, The Carolan Research Institute (CRI), to carry on her work.
John Story founded Fennell Story Insights in 2022, funded by CRI. The sole purpose was to continue CRI's work beyond its planned sunset in 2023.

The current board of directors of CRI provides oversight and insights for Fennell Story.
Our mission is also supported by a variety of researchers in the U. S. and abroad.
